Document the VOTE!

In this election season it has become known that most of the nation will be voting using hackable vote tallying machines. ( see Hacking Democracy and Black Box Voting ) Even if you have a paper ballot, record the unique identification number of your ballot, and check to make sure the ballot is recorded correctly. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PAPER TRAIL, TAKE A PICTURE OF THE TOUCH SCREEN WITH YOUR CAMERA ON YOUR CELL PHONE!

If you vote using a Provisional or Absentee ballot, chances are as high as one in three ( 33% ) in some areas that your ballot will be lost, or discarded due to an error in the Address, or some other anomaly. ( see Absentee Ballots ) In the 2004 election, 1.9 million U.S. voters cast provisional ballots. However, only 1.2 million (64.5%) of these provisional ballots were counted.2

To further complicate this untenable mess, the seven major TV networks, and much of the spectrum of Radio and Newspaper media have conglomerated their EXIT POLLS and are now paying a single organization ( OTM ) to crunch the data. The National Election Pool are quarantined with the incoming exit poll data until 5 p.m. Joe Lenski is one of the founders of Edison Media Research which, along with Mitofsky Research, will conduct the polls.

Here is how to document your vote:

I sincerely hope I've convinced you to do your part in protecting the election process. For more information see "The Roll of Citizen Media". Good luck.
